Mónica and Nélson are the owners of Cafetaria Tasse.

Mónica was 15 years old when she went to Mercado do Bolhão to work for 9 years as a florist and employee of Ms. Maria Argentina Malheiro, the mother of "Lurdes das Toalhas." Nélson, Argentina’s nephew, did not work in Bolhão, but he would often come to the market to offer a helping hand in his mother's business, who also sold flowers. On these visits, Nélson and Mónica exchanged glances. Sometime later, they fell in love, start dating, and Mónica started working with her mother-in-law selling flowers and, later, selling handicrafts.

In 2018, when Amélia Malheiro — Nélson's mother and Mónica's mother-in-law — passed away, the couple decided to set up a new business in Bolhão: the Cafetaria Tasse.
